DANCER/ANTHROPOLIGIST

Elizabeth Chin is an anthropologist and dancer who has studied Haitian Folkloric dance for over 20 years. She has been conducting fieldwork in Haiti since 1993. Among her teachers are Jean Leon Destine, founder of the Haitian National Ballet, and Katherine Dunham.
