Maurissa Tancharoen

Maurissa Tancharoen is an Emmy Award winning writer who grew up as an actress, singer, and dancer.  As a child she danced in Michael Jackson's Moonwalker and was a member of Motown's pop/R&B group Pretty In Pink.  In 2007, she and her brother, Kevin, co-created and were Executive Producers on MTV's series "Dancelife" starring Jennifer Lopez.  Maurissa recently wrote on television's "Dollhouse" and "Drop Dead Diva", while co-writing and appearing in the highly acclaimed musical sensation, "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" (starring Neil Patrick Harris).  She also had a recurring role on "Dollhouse" as Kilo.  She and her husband, Jed Whedon, are currently a writing/producing team on Starz new hit series, "Spartacus: Blood and Sand".
